Meredith Hipp, ACNP-BC is a board certified acute care nurse practitioner. She graduated from Furman University in 2001 with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry, and then spent two years in forensics. Meredith graduated from Midland’s Technical College with an associate’s degree in nursing in 2007. She spent four years as an intensive care registered nurse in the medical intensive care unit at Palmetto Health Richland followed by another year as an intensive care nurse at Colleton Medical Center. Meredith graduated from Vanderbilt University, in Nashville, Tennessee, with a master’s degree in 2012 after significant elective coursework and training in critical care. She has maintained board certification through the ANCC since 2012.
Meredith’s professional interests include end-stage renal disease and the choice of treatment modalities, critical care medicine, management of severe infections and sepsis, patient education, and issues related to access to care.
Outside of work, Meredith is happiest spending time with her three children and her boyfriend. She enjoys exercising, planning travels, relaxing on the beach, reading, and watching movies.
